Don't you just love how creative some people are. Artist Benjamin Bullins gives the old saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” an entirely new meaning.  Taking inspiration for a single object, he then uses other materials to build a sculpture that reflects the culture of his hometown of New Orleans. I love the uniqueness of this!!

Black & White

I love the freshness of these images. Black has a bad rap of being harsh but I think it adds such a timeless elegance to any home. I have had the most beautiful photo's taken of my girls by Katrina Christ Photographers and I have been trying to commit to a frame colour but now I have inspiration from the top image I am going to do White frames and create a beautiful Black and White wall.

Happy New Year everyone!! I'm very excited for 2012… Professionally and Personally my life is very blessed. I am very grateful for all that I have, and my friends and family... and I'm excited that in 2012 I will get to enjoy my business for the 6th year, see my beautiful daughter again soon, after 4months away, get a bit fitter (I won't say a lot!!), lose some weight. See my beautiful niece get married and spend time with the people that matter most to me!! There's so much more to get excited about for all of us we just need to remember to take the time to ponder on those things....
